
About Dr. Bedros Taslakian
Dr. Bedros Taslakian, MD, EBIR, is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology, the Director of the Vascular and Interventional Radiology Research Program and the Director of Clinical Research Integration at the Department of Radiology, NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
Dr. Taslakian’s areas of clinical expertise and research interests include venous thromboembolism, knee osteoarthritis, portal hypertension, and men’s health interventions. Dr. Taslakian is the principal investigator of an investigator-initiated prospective, single-arm trial evaluating the role of genicular artery embolization for treatment of knee OA. In addition, Dr. Taslakian serves as a site PI for several NIH and society funded clinical trials including PE-TRACT. He has authored over 45 peer-reviewed articles and multiple book chapters and has presented in national and international meetings.
Dr. Taslakian completed residency at the American University of Beirut after which he completed fellowship training in Chest Imaging, Cardiac Imaging, and Vascular and Interventional Radiology at NYU School of Medicine in New York, NY. He is board certified in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR).
